Ис-Кис is a digital service for studying history that combines educational content, interactive visualization of historical events, and a knowledge assessment system. The platform was created for a private educational organization seeking a more modern and engaging content delivery format than conventional text-based lessons and static presentations. At the core is the idea of showing history not as scattered dates and facts, but as a connected system of events, cause-and-effect relationships, and learning scenarios — all in one unified service.
The Challenge
We needed to build an educational platform for studying history in a more visual and interactive format. Requirements covered multiple areas: a convenient way for students to explore historical events and their connections; a testing system with automatic checking and feedback; a personal dashboard for progress tracking; and an administrative layer for content and user management.
Our Solution
- Designed the architecture of an educational platform for interactive history learning
- Developed a responsive web interface for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Implemented interactive graph visualization of historical events and relationships using D3.js
- Built a testing system with multiple question types, automatic checking, and progress statistics
